Topaz Design is led by Katherine “Kat” Topaz, an award-winning, nationally recognized, and broadly experienced creative director. Topaz if full of energy and enthusiasm for the projects she takes on. Her latest project is the tentatively named, “Non-Profit Fridays.” Moving to the new space has given Topaz the ability to fulfill a long-term goal of bringing 8-10 creative types together weekly to donate their expertise creating visual identities for non-profit businesses. Additionally, a mentoring component will include one student who will be chosen to be a member of the team.
It’s a win-win for everyone involved. Creative professionals collaborate with a mix of diverse professionals in their field. They come together to work on one selected project, through its entirety. It’s a powerful atmosphere where it’s easy to inspire — and be inspired — and gives great designers the opportunity to work with designers that they don’t usually get to.
